Diamond cut means machined. The wheel is placed on the lathe and part of the surface is machined off leaving a shiny alloy finish it is then powder coat lacquered to protect the painted surface. You will be able to see if your wheel is diamond cut as it will appear more shiny & have fine lines beneath the lacquer created by the CNC machine.
The Machine probes the wheels and learns it's exact profile in preparation for the diamond cut. Diamond cut finished alloy wheels are being fitted to more and more vehicles and with the road surfaces the demand for repairing these specialist alloy wheels couldn't be greater.

Here at Wheel Doctor Crawley we offer a full factory finish where your wheels will be completely stripped/dipped, all damage removed and powder coated. This is the only repair that will get rid of your corrosion.
Corrosion is bubbling, flaking & popping of the paint work. Sometimes creates a white milky effect around the centre caps, if not treated it will spread all over the wheel and possibly lead to eating into the cast of your alloys.
It can also cause loss of tyre pressure round the valve caps and cause the tyre not to seal properly.
